We spotted this restaurant whilst walking in the old town. And WOW, what a find! The food is absolutely delicious and the service is second to none. All overseen by the great front of house man Stanley. No request is to much - it's always a "yes, we can do that". In our 9 days in Hanoi we visited this restaurant 3 times. Atmosphere, food and service always consistently great. There seems to be a few El Gaucho's in Hanoi but El Gaucho Tràng Tiền is just fantastic.

I had a wonderful birthday here. The Stan manager was fantastic. The best part was the delicious, melt-in-your-mouth beef. I've eaten at many steak restaurants, but El Gaucho is the best. I loved the free shots. My boyfriend and I were very happy and satisfied with the service and food here.

Without any doubt, the best steakhouse in Vietnam — and possibly in all of Asia. The meat is incredibly tender, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. It is served with warm bread, baked garlic, olive oil, and an outstanding pesto that elevates the entire experience. Every detail reflects exceptional quality. A truly unforgettable dining experience — highly recommended for anyone who appreciates great meat.

Surprised to see this place is so highly rated. The food didn't reflect the ratings. We ordered the grilled lamb chops and US prime Rib eye steak. For the price we paid, the meat was subpar and under-seasoned. Save yourself the time and money by doing research and finding a good steakhouse.

The seating was a bit cold and the space is quite small, but overall the food quality was really good. I absolutely loved the beef tartare here =))) The wagyu was great too hehe. Would definitely come back.
